Wilbur B. Carver & Robert L. Sampson Inaugural Scholarship Luncheon
The brothers of Eta Omicron held our Inaugural Scholarship Luncheon for high school seniors receiving scholarships from our chapter. Our two scholarships are named for two iconic Omega men from our chapter, Bro. Wilbur Carver and Bro. Robert L. Samson. Albany native, Bro. Steve Belk, Director of Albany Recreation and Parks was the keynote speaker for the event. We were also blessed to have Soror Dorothy Carver, wife of Bro. Carver, and Bro. David Sampson, younger brother of Bro. Robert Sampson there in attendance.
Thank you to the Bro. Darryl Stephens and the Scholarship Committee and Bro. Marlon Baker and the Foundation for their great work with the recipients and the luncheon itself. Last, but definitely not least, we say THANK YOU to the parents of these amazing scholars for raising them to be the outstanding young men and young ladies that they are. (Scholarship)
